Service Technician – North Durham EcoWater Office

Job Description:

North Durham EcoWater is looking for a Service Technician to join our growing team. If you are looking for a challenging, diverse career in the water treatment field, don’t miss this chance! Our industry is growing and our company services a highly prized region of southern Ontario – Cottage Country! You will be extensively trained in your first year here and ongoing from that, to recognize and resolve water treatment issues. Our Technicians gain the knowledge of our water treatment systems that allow them to respond to customer calls in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for installation and service of water treatment equipment in residential and/or commercial venues
  • Providing repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance to water treatment systems that result in the best water possible for our customers
  • Ability to plan, layout, organize and execute work with minimum or no supervision
  • Must have a good driving record. Responsible for operating a company van
  • Excellent time management and customer service is a MUST
  • Good verbal, written and communication skills are required
  • Proficiency with tools and repair work, mechanically inclined
  • Ability to think, act and make sound decisions quickly
  • Must be able to lift 50 to 100lbs

2-3 years of service, installation, and/or plumbing experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hrs/week

Salary: $20.00 to $24.00 /hour

  • Assisting our Service Technicians and the Operations Manager, including servicing and installing water treatment equipment, cleaning and repairing equipment
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Punctual for work, good time management
  • Must be able to lift 50 to 100 lbs
  • Good verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Courteous and polite with customers – ALWAYS

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hrs/week
Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 /hour
